Anyone can park in most parking spaces--unless otherwise specified per the posted signage--at Alexandria Union Station to catch the Amtrak or VRE trains for up to ten days. Please note that these parking spaces are not patrolled overnight and neither the City nor Amtrak are responsible for vehicles parked at 110 Callahan Drive overnight. The Amtrak station is only staffed and open from 6:00 AM to 8:45 PM every day.

Parking at Union Station is very limited--there are only about 30 spaces that are open to the public. The City highly recommends using public transit or getting a ride to Union Station, if possible. The unpaved gravel lot is reserved for Authorized Personnel only.

The cost to park in the permissible paved spaces (including the disability parking spaces!) at Union Station per the posted signage is as follows:

• $2.50 per hour
• $15.00 per day
