The City of Alexandria’s Department of Recreation, Parks & Cultural Activities is excited to welcome back residents and visitors to our outdoor pools and interactive fountain for the start of the 2025 pool season. All pools and the Potomac Yard Interactive Fountain will open on Saturday, May 24. See below for more information on each location's schedule.

To prepare swimmers for the season, RPCA is offering 15% off outdoor pool season passes for residents from May 1 through June 15. Passes may be purchased in person now at Chinquapin Park Recreation Center & Aquatics Facility (3210 King St), or at any of the City’s outdoor pools starting May 24. Residents may also purchase passes online at alexandriava.gov/WebTrac.

Potomac Yard Park Interactive Fountain

The Potomac Yard Park Interactive Fountain, located between the two playgrounds, features 36 water jets, three programmable sequences, and sensors controlling water jet height for current conditions.
